hey there I have a 1992 toyota extra cab that I will be doing a solid axle swap on, I already have a 5 inch lift on my truck and it has also been re-geared to 4.88 to match the lift and tires. So basically my question is if I can use the same 4.88 gears out of my IFS diff and out them inside the solid axle that I will be using? Or do i need to get a new gear set for this? Because I know that I can not run the stock gearing since my rear will already be re-geared. If any one can help me out with this i would be very greatful. Thanks guys

IFS front diffs (7.5") and SFA front diffs (8") are completely different.

So no you can't use it.

@waskillywabbit thanks for getting a response to me so fast, I was pretty sure that it would not be interchangable but I figured why not ask and make sure. Thanks again for the help.
