rear bumper for a 94 pu?

Hi. I am in need of a rear and front bumper for a 94 Toyota Pickup. It is supposed to be a DLX?
Is there a way to find out what model it is by the vin since there are no stickers or emblems on the car.
Now the question is. Will a T100 rear bumper fit onto my pickup? I found one in our area on craigslist, but we don't know if it will fit. Maybe someone knows and saves me the trip?
Thanks
Markus

I don't think it will fit, the T100 is significantly wider than the pickup. Location? I have front and rear bumpers from my 95 that are sitting around here

Think the shipping would be pretty steep I am in ca but if you're really interested I can get quotes. Guessing you'd do better checking local yards and waiting for the right deal

Looks like shipping is around $60-70 a piece. Guess I have to get them off ebay. But if you want to check or tell me the weight?

Hello,

Padgett Fabrication builds Some pretty awesome REAR bumpers all of the 84-94 trucks, and all of the Tacomas. Shipping isn't that bad. True, shipping is about $80 from VA to your location, BUT I offer a top notch bumper that you will have forever. I offer lifetime repairs, and I have never had to fix any yet. I have been building these for 13 years. Price range is $275-$475 for your model, but like I said, its the last bumper you will buy. (05-current tacomas are $575-800) All bumpers include all hardware and the brackets to fit your model. Any questions?

Thats pretty funny...lol... I have never heard my bumpers referred to as "gadgets". Thats a good one. I didn't realise you was looking for the Factory bumper. Those just don't hold up to any sort of offroading, thats why they get replaced so often. Thanks for the opportunity to show off my products anyways. Good luck with your search.

Thanks for your reply. I am just looking for a set of stock ones since we got the truck from a relative in NC. Even the hitch was completely gone. Just looking for a replacement. Your "gadgets" look great. Just not our thing for around town. We are not into "offroading". Here it is normal to have a truck. You just need it. The speedbumps and raindips are horrible here.
Thanks again and good luck.
BTW: We will be driving down to NC and SC this summer. If someone on the way from ID to there has a set of bumpers laying around we might stop by.
Let me know.

i wouldn't even waste my time looking for a stock replacement bumper. pretty much useless for anything except stepping on to get at stuff in the bed and for stickers. a lot of 3rd gen trucks didn't even come with a bumper from the factory, the dealerships put them on. i would personally look for either an aftermarket bumper (yes, most of them are offroad "gadgets", lol), or even just look for a tow hitch that fits. with a tow hitch you can actually tow something and if you go offroad you'll have an actual recovery point for the rear and something to provide more protection than the stock aluminum can bumper. tow hitch would also help if you ever get rear-ended since it won't crumple into the bodywork like the bumpers would have.

check on craigslist. probably your best bet at finding a cheap replacement. somehow i sold my old stocker on CL for $100 - took the $ and ran. i wouldn't pay more than $20-40 for a stocker unless it was pristine like mine was.

Thanks. But Like I said. It's just for around town. And as you can see there is a new hitch. Luckily that was a warranty thing. Uhaul apparently sold their hitches with a wear and tear warranty years ago. So we got the rusty one replaced for free.
And I don't think they are made of aluminum. I went to mechanic school in germany where I grew up for 3 full years with apprenticeship. I think I can tell what is aluminum and what not.
I also agree not paying more then up to $50 for one decent bumper because you can get them new delivered to your doorstep for $100 a piece aftermaket. Just want to see if someone has some laying around for a good price. That is not a new truck and my girl doesn't want to spent a fortune on bumpers. Still needs the break backing plates replaced and the whole brake system in the back, some work on the fender and some other things that got destroyed by the rust.
Thanks for all the input.

Oh. Finding here something on CL is almost impossible. You guys won't belive it if I tell you that I see the break lining which fell of some cars break shoes lying on a parking lot at least once a year. Kind of scarry. That is Idaho LOL!

Warning, stay clear of Padgett Fabrication. I bought and paid for a bumper from him on eBay in April '11, it is now July and i still have not received it. He strung me along for almost 4 months and now has stopped returning email or phone calls. Stay clear. He takes your money but will not actually send you a bumper.
