Quick 2.7 Tacoma TPS question
Are the TPS sensors adjustable ?
Yes I searched, Most that im getting is "the TPS for the 3.4 isnt adjustable"
EDIT: Im trying to change mine out, want to know if I have to adjust it.
The FSM doesnt have much about it either.
Thanks

If a mod sees this, could ya maybe move this to the 4Runner-Taco section..?
Ok so I did more researching, nothing though..
Looking through my paper back and the online one again..
On this page it says check throttle position sensor.
Then it says replace throttle position sensor, and links to here EDIT: and that <--- page has nothing about the TPS really
So IDK what the hell im researching wrong or what.
I've searched YT a billion times and it says on the 3.4 to just stick it on and the ECM re calibrates itself...

For the record and for future searches, No it isnt adjustable on my 99.
On the 95.5-97 3rz's though, They are adjustable, refer to the fsm on NCTTORA for the specs for that..
But my guess is in 98+ 3rz's they changed them and made them non adjustable.
Taco is back to having no MIL/CEL.

thanks for all the info Scuba! I'm just about to tackle this and I (like you...) haven't been able to get a clear understanding as to which ones are adjustable or not. I've got a 98 and it looks like it doesn't require adjustment.
Thanks!
Thanks!
