Power Antenna Issue
Hey all. I've searched around for an answer to my problem but all I could find was threads about accessing or removing the power antenna or where to purchase a new one which I've had no problem with. So I made my own thread. I'm new to yotatech I've searched for hours for an answer and apologize if there is already one out there.
Its a 1986 pickup with 87 4runner guts. I have a antenna rocker switch near my stereo console. I removed the antenna through the passenger-side front wheel well. The antenna wire going into the post and a wire off the side to ground off the bottom clip. But no other wire for 12v My question (which may be a stupid one) is whether or not the antenna unit gets 12v from the actual antenna wire(via radio) or if I'm missing the wire and cant find the connection. Any photos you might have of your's removed would be helpful.
Thanks!
