lower radiator and lowerhose cold
after rplacing the radiator i noticed the bottom of the rad is no hotter than outside temp. Also the lower hose same temp.Top hose and top of rad blazing or normal.Iused new 50/50 mix toy coolant. let the air out and did the burp method. Also removed the t stat and boiled to check. Its ok opened at 180.After letting motor idle for 2 hr the bottom should havegot hot.Even removed heater hose to bleed out air .Tried everything i could think of and am out of my mind!

It would help to know what engine you have ???, but in most cases hot water from the engine comes into the radiator at the top hose and as the coolant flows down through the radiator it is cooled, so the lower part of the radiator should be a little cooler than the top of the radiator. Is your truck over heating ?, or is the engine temp normal ?.

You likely still have an air bubble. You'll need to burp it again. Get the rad cap as high as you can, with ramps on a slope if possible, turn your heater on hot and let the engine warm up. You'll need to top up the radiator as the air bubbles out.
Hopefully that's all it is.
Hopefully that's all it is.

thanks i will try to burp it again. The motor is 2oo1 3.4.I did have the front of motor higher then the heater hose. Ieven pulled off the heater hose reved engine to force it out.The lower rad was cold even after idleing for 1hr and repeated attempts to get air out. Startting to think it might be my water pump.Gauge never moves from normal.Or never gets past the middle.
