So I decided to upgrade my 4runner's suspension. I have the back end done but I still have the front end. I got the T422 Skyjacker IFS Bracket Lift, the instructions are awful and I have never done this before. Does anyone know of a write-up or video or anything that might help?

I have alot of work to do aside from the bracket lift to include: Upper and Lower Ball Joints, Shocks, Tie Rods, Wheel Bearings, Warn Manual Hubs, and CV Axles. I am a bit overwhelmed looking at all that in my garage right now so if someone could point me in a good direction with the bracket lift that would be a huge help. Thanks so much for any help I can get!

Oh and before everyone blows me up with "you should do SAS" I already bought the bracket kit, I am not a rockcrawler and I like IFS. Thanks for your concern but as for me I am going to sticck with IFS on this vehicle because it suits my needs Thanks again.

Its pretty straight forward. The spindle spacers bolt to the spindle. The drop bracket bolts to the frame. Bump stop extensions bolt on.

Nothing wrong with ifs.

Well I get that but I have a huge bag of hardware and the instructions are bad if you have ever looked at them. I am sure I will get it figured out. I just assumed someone might have some experience with the bracket lifts and offer some lessons learned.

For example I am having trouble removing the eccentric bolts. the first one came out with two taps of a small ball peen. The other three will not budge and I have beat the hell out of them with a sledge hammer. So if someone had dealt with that maybe they found a good way to remove them.

Well, did you hose everything down with an oil penetrate?

Yeah I did they are pretty much holding their breath beneath layers of WD40 and PB blaster. I also tried moving the control arm around, more hammering and even an air hammer. I'm about to go to bed but my plan for tomorrow is to cut them out with the angle grinder. I am guessing they only way to get replacement bolts will be through the dealership. Has anyone used any of those online OEM websites? I found them there but not sure if I want to deal with that.

I had the same problem with the camber bolts on my lower arms. cut them off and check out some junkyards. you can get them from toyota but they are kind of expensive if i remember right. Make sure all you cut is the bolt

Well I found them for $9 at one of those online OEM part sites. I am going to call the dealership as soon as they open and hopefully get them there. I called to get OEM U-bolts a few weeks ago. and they wanted around $40 each! I ended up getting a skyjacker kit for $42.00 with the whole set.

ok Camber bolts from www.toyomotorparts.com part number 48190-35020 $45.00 shipped. Dealer wanted 60 for the same thing. They are located in California so they will be here in a couple days. I will need the time anyways, cutting these bolts out is tricky.
