So, if you sell it, what do you want for it?

take into consideration the condition of the body and frame. any rust? how many miles? what kind of mods have been done? has the engine been rebuilt, and if so, is there paperwork? you said the turbo was rebuilt, is there paperwork for that?

i have no paperwork for any of it, the engine hasn't been built, but the head was. no mods at all, and i has very little rust on one of the rear windows, but i'ma pick up another window frame with out any rust that i found. only has a ding on the rear corner on top of the tail light. and the gloss is fading from the hood. it has 183 thousandish miles.

i have no paper work for the rebuilts, but the head has been rebuilt also. it has no mods at all. it has a ding on top of the tail light. it only has 189thousandish miles. the only thing that is broken is one of the boots, but i already got a new one and i'm about to put it on some time this weekend. rust, yes a little. but it is on the window frame of the camper shell and i'm about to switch it to one that i found with no rust. the gloss from the hood is gone, so that needs paint. but i might get it all fix by a body shop that the dealer i work for sends their stuff. i might put on some rock sliders from downey racing, but the ones for my 4runner are first

I just bought my 86 with 80k miles on it for 2800 but the turbo needed rebuilt. The body is really straight with minimal rust. It has a t3 on it with a custom header. Ran real good till the turbo blew up again. Now its time for a professional to rebuild it this time Then its onto the SAS.............

well i got my 4runner with a 22re for 1500 i think it was, and it needed a lot of work. it still does but it looks decent now. btw, the turbo 4runner needs a rear bumper. it came with one, but it looks as if it doesn't belong there. my plan with that is putting the stock bumper from the my 4runner, and fabig one up for my rig. or just buyin the pre runner one sold by Downey. i was also thinking of putting a bigger turbo, but not sure what fits without having any problems with vacums, compresions or other side effects. i haven't researched much but i still have time, since the turbo is spooling just fine. i've heard around that the turbo from the supra mk11 is good for that engine. the only mod is the exhuast manifold and the oil line(i think).

Yea mine came with a damn truck bumper that somebody welded to the frame. It looks like crap so as soon as it starts warming up I want to get a Marlin Crawler rear bumper for mine. I know the CT26 is the most easiest upgrade for the 22rte. You can still use the stock manifold with minor fab and I'm not sure on the oil line. Check out the 22RTE-Trucks web site, they know tons! Alot of people aiming for higher horsepower go with a different manifold and either a T3 or T4 turbo. They will work with lower boost but once you start raising the boost you have to start looking at stand alone EFI and spark control or your gonna run into fuel cut.
