fj80 front axel

does any body know if theres anything else you can add to the front axels if there leaking. Its a pretty big job to repair the seals. I hear you can pack grease in them. They are the ball style joints.

x2 the effort that you put in to packing them with grease "pulling the axle and reinstalling" Is far more effort to do twice rather than using a screwdriver to get the seals out and using a socket large enough to drive a new one in packed with grease!!!

front axel

you can use a screwdriver to get it out to skip taking the whole hub apart. if so anyone have anymore details.

this says to drive it out however usually I just use a screw driver "or if you feel better you can buy a seal puller from the auto parts house" and pry it out then use a socket that is as big around as the seal to drive the new one in...
ALWAYS USE GREASE AND DRIVE IT STRAIGHT IN AND NEVER GO TOO FAR JUST FLUSH WITH THE CASE!! insert the axle and put it back together......
