Crossover Highsteer?!

do you have to replace you gear box or can you use the stock gear b ox? i have an 82 all stock up front with d ual s tabilizer now and does fine but wiht 39's that w on't last long

no your box eill not work you need the box from a ifs truck

yours is a push pull while the ifs box is a standerd left right

Yep, the stock solid axle steering is push-pull, that is the pitman arm swings front to back:


With crossover steering, you need an IFS ('86-'95 pickup/4Runner) steering box where the pitman arm swings side to side:

i would get and ifs steering box and with 39s maybe a ram assist setup
