Changing suspension - no torque wrench?

Changing suspension - no torque wrench?
So I dont have a torque wrench and I want to get started on my rear end coil/shock swap. 3rd gen adding OME890s and N86 shocks, SS panhard bar.
I will have access to a torque wrench next weekend when I do the front end swap.
Any danger of just tighten the hell out of everything until next week?

Well, of course its possible, but you under tighten, you run the risk of stuff coming undone. You over tighten, you could snap bolts or strip threads, then you are in a heap of trouble.
I would just try to be patient and wait til next weekend. Or find a spot to borrow one.
You can still do whatever you like. I know how excited I was to get my headers just to let them sit in a box until the rest of my exhaust showed up. It's a killer.

Indeed. Time is in short supply with wife and two kids, thats why I have to split this up over two weeks.
I may get a friends wrench.
Would I be safe with a FT Lbs wrench? I know a few call outs say inch lbs.

theres not much in the rear you need a tq wrench for but the front dont forget the blue loctite on the lower bj bolts and tighten to 59ft lbs

Whew! 2 hours of balls out speed wrench and I'm done. Got the torque wrench at 9am , had wheels off and ass in in the air at 10am, friend shows up 5 minutes later and we rip everything out in about an hour.
PB blaster is a life saver. We were 10 seconds from cutting the upper shock bolt off on the driver side when it popped loose and we got it.
No room on top of rear shock as you all know, so we had to remove and install by rotating the shock.
Only problem of the day was that upper shock nut on install. I couldnt get the torque wrench in there well enough to feel if it did snap at 14ftlbs. The OME bushings are compressed a little , and I know the nuts are tight.
everything else went as well as can be expected for a cold and semi rainy day in the driveway with two best buds under a 4runner swearing and cracking jokes.
