Barf. Those look good on the single cab 84-88 pick ups.. I don't think it'd look good on your curvy 3rd gen pickup.

i know, but i still like the 4runner look of it. my truck is too curvy for the earlier stuff and too square for the later stuff. i'm kinda in that awkward stage in between

You have the "12 year old girl" truck lol the awkward stage. Why don't you just get a tonneau cover?

hahahaha nice way to put it

my bike (bicycle), among other things, won't fit under a tonneau

^^^ nice. very nice indeed. what size is your bed, and who makes the shell?

kinda reminds me of will smith's "i am legend" suv with the rack and lights.

and @1981 yota: which kind, the tonneau or camper shell style? the only problem with these is that they don't lock. although i do like the ease of removal, if desired

this is pretty neat. too bad i don't do that much camping

hmm... i am thinking that any shell that'll fit an early tundra will fit a late pickup of the same bed length. this might be useful for (conquering the world) sizing.

Long unfortunately, the more I wheel, the more I want a runner for their shorter WB.

BTW !! anybody want my shell? By want I mean make an offer. I bought it for $200. I'm building a custom tube frame shell. Gonna wrap it in heavy canvas, use military zippers, kinda safari-like...

t.o-
too bad you don't live on the east coast. i would snatch that cap up in a second. what kind is it? all leers i've seen are for short beds

edit:
likewise, anyone who has a short bed cap, what kind is it, and if you're a day's trip from dc, i might be interested in buying it.
