Anti-sway bars and Suspension Lifts?

I am looking at some Addco sway bars for my 2001 4runner, but with my next purchase going to be a Sonoran Steel 1.2 suspension lift will the sway bars be a redundancy or a hindrance? I understand that the anti-sway bars help prevent body roll in higher speed corners on-road but will it hurt or help in the off road setting. I don't do any rock crawling or anything like that, but is this a good addition for off-road use (which I care more about than on-road performance). Any thoughts?
