side view of sway-a-way lift with AAL and 1" block

There is no going down. I say up you go. Just watch the CV angles.
It looks great.
This picture brings a question to mind. I have wheeled with 2 new Tacos and really thought they would do better than they did. In the picture it shows that you have shocks outside the frame rails which makes it handle on the road much better. I wonder if this is however limiting rear articulation for off roading?
Just curious!

Looks like it is. Same thing with my 4Runner.

I had a feeling the AAL and 1" block would do that... I guess start cranking up the front, and get some diff drop spacers if you don't have any to help the CV angles. I think your best bet would be to just lose the 1" block rather than having to worry about the CV angle.

I agree. Get rid of the block.
???? AAL is add a leaf, not block.

Gotcha.....that would be the best.
But if you want to save $$, I think a 1" block is much better than AAL's. And I am sure someone is making shackles for the taco already.

didn't get new leafs because I needed to retain stock towing...
plus, AAL should make the rear a little stiffer for when I have it loaded with gear.
block was added to give it another inch ride height.

leave it as is or crank up the coil overs a little more, going down would be a waste, a diff drop and crank the coilovers seems like the best solution
