Key FOB stopped working

So randomly this week I went to unlock my truck and nothing. Thought the battery died, so I got one today and NOTHING. So I disconnected the battery on the truck for 5 minutes for everything to reset and the damn factory alarm went off and still no dice. I had to unlock the door with my key to make the horn stop! So I tried the re-program and the alarm went off again and still nothing works on the keyless entry.

What now? I guess I need to take it to the dealer to see if the FOB is transmitting a signal thats all I can think of. Clearly the alarm works and all of the fuses work so I am left scratching my head and trying to figure out what the hell went wrong!

Anyone else have this issue before?

Is there a second key fob with the truck? Have you tried the second key fob yet? ( yeah I know, stupid , obvious question )
Possible only way to fix this is to go to the dealer to have the fob checked and reprogrammed.

i bought it used and only got 1 key and FOB otherwise I would have done that for sure

. I plan on taking it in this week.
