Codes for 2006 4Runner....

I have a friend who's 06 4runner is pulling the following codes with the CEL and the VStrac and VSC lights on.
P0456- evaporative emission control system leak (very small leak)
C1201- engine control system fault
C1223- fault in ABS control system
C1249- open circuit in stop light switch
From what I gather, the VStrac and VSC will come on with the CEL as a safety precaution automatically. Since I'm really only familiar with my 3vze engine, I've no idea what these codes point to, other than the description. I couldn't find them searching here either. Anyone have any idea's.

I know the last code gonna be either a grounded out wire or wrong bulb in the taillights or check to see (if it has a trailer harness that isnt frayed or grounding out.) That might help ya out on the abs to cause they might be linked with the brake codes. (also check to see if ya have any blown fuses)

Anyone know the difference between the "P" codes and the "C" codes?

I'll check all the wiring on the taillights.

P = Powertrain
B = Body
C = Chassis
U = Undefined
