2004 Toyota V8 4Runner looking to buy
I looked at a used 2004 V8 4runner. I believe it has xreas.
It is very clean and seems to be a reasonable price.
But, when I touch the brakes it makes a clicking/motor type sound form near the anti lock brake area. This will happen while driving on dry pavement or in park. It is not a slippery surface where the antilock brakes are kicking in. In park with the car running if I step on the brakes and release, I will hear a clicking or pump-motor type sound for about 3-5 seconds after the brakes are released.
Any ideas what this is? Should I be concerned? Not buy?
Thanks,

Don't know specifically
FWIW I've read more than a couple of complaints of frozen calipers (costing about 2k to fix, Non warranty item). If they are a floating caliper design then you just need to keep the slider pin greased once or twice a year.
Doesn't sound like that because of the noise you are hearing, but just in case.
