wow this is wierd

Does anyone have any idea why when I unplug my throttle position sensor my idle clears out and sounds fine....when its plugged in very rough idle...

Because you need to replace the sensor?

thats what I figured but why would it clear out and run better

bad tps?

oh, the sensor tells teh comp. how far the throttle is open, and if its bad it may think it has more or less opening than it does.

Well your tps is bad or out of adjustment...

TPS is bad. That is how you test it. When you unplug it, and it runs better, the TPS is bad. The engine is not running as good as it can w/ a good TPS (when it is unplugged).
