Realted topic...
I've been noticing that several of the LED pics feature pointers that are no longer RED more a washed out pink at best... has anybody tried to darken them with some of that translucent paint stuff they sell for making fake stained glass and models and so on? what were the results?
Cheers Aviator

i did this a while back with my '86.5 supra and my '94 pickup. i don't have pics of the supra, but here are some of the truck. i used superbrightleds.com bulbs (the 5 angle ones). the camera makes it look like there are hot spots, but there really aren't any at all. nice even light all the way across.

edit: the pics make them look orange, but that's the crappy camera i used. they are a sweet blood red.

and this guy is custom:

Is there a reason you didn't get the x6 bulbs?

Also, did these light that have the LEDs 360 degrees around the bulb, do they light up the dash really well?

Also, I wanted to do LEDs in my front bumper turn signal lights, what part number are those?

And on this website, why did you choose the bulbs you did? Why not any other ones on this website page?

Thanks

You want to use the WLED-x5 LED Wide Angle LED bulbs. If you use the x6, the light doesn't spread as wide, and you will see dark spots in your gauge cluster. Also the lower-end ones aren't light enough. The x5s are perfect. I but cool white ones in my cluser, Ill have a pic later. You need 5 of the 194 type x5 WLEDs for the gauge cluster.

On a side note, anyone know what LED bulb can be used in the dome light?

Sweet. Great info.
I'm assuming also that the climate control take 2 #74? Is that correct?

I want to know the part number for the dome light also! Anyone know?

Thank you!

Actually it's just one bulb in the heater controls not counting the lamp in the ac switch which you probably ought to leave alone since you have to tear the whole switch down to get to it... if you are talking about the 92 runner
