sometimes I just wanna cry.... I had horrible braking and wheel wobbling problems when mine went out... And I hate to think about what would happen if the thing broke... Another big pay-out from Toyota North America...
Spend the like $11. Go buy the factory bushings and spend 30 minutes fixing it.
At the very least you've fixed A problem. At the most, THE problem.
DO NOT go buy a faux "Heavy Duty" 555 $50 POS at Advance and AZ...
Buy freaking Toyota bushings and a small tube of grease...

I can't remember if I had momentary at-speed problems when my idler went out, but I want to say I did...

I just priced the bushings for my truck today at the closest dealership... $12.46 each! I realize $25 is a lot less than a complete idler arm and housing, but I thought that was too steep for some pieces of plastic. Instead, I went with Beck Arnley bushings @ $5 each, which should buy me just enough time to get bronze bushings made, or buy a custom fabbed idler arm.

could just be a faulty tire. Sometimes ( it is rare) the tire is faulty from manufacturer. Could be that the molding was off and you got an out of round tire. You could also get the guys that balanced the tire to recheck it again and see if it is out again. If it is then the tires are at fault

So far, the only manufacturers I've found for these is Custom Machining and SDORI. Both of them have bushings readily available for the 4WD idler arms, (or at least a specific 4WD idler arm) but they said they would have to have my idler arm to fab up some custom bushings.
Right now, I don't have the money for custom bushings. I just spent a mint on a lot of parts, so the bronze bushings are going to have to wait.
I found a custom fabbed idler arm made for 2WDs. It looks super strong, AND it's running bronze bushings. Probably going to set me back around $250 though. One of those things I will have to save up for. My main focus is just getting the truck back on the road again. The idler arm on steroids will have to wait...

When I called today, they were going to have to order them. It just depends on the dealership.
You can only get the OEM bushings from the dealership though. If you were asking about the bronze or brass bushings, you have to go somewhere else.
