I dont want to get into aflaming war but thats just what autzone sells here, Im a teenager on a lower budget and am not going to spend $200 on a tuneup when it doesnt NEED it. I just do most of the work on my vehicle for preventative maintenece. My 88 toyota 22RE had bosch platinums in it forover 3 years and when I finally changed them they werent bad at all, I sandblasted them and air blew them out and put em back in and they worked fined still. Sure if you have the money why not buy better stuff but hey I dont got thee greatest job I could get and moneys tight considering I just had to buy a $1100 tranny for my other dd. If you want to get technical my RX-7 has 4 wires, 4 plugs and no dist cap/rotor and a tuneip for it with 'real' brand name parts are 200 and some dollars and I bitched and moaned about it for months lol. Ive always tended to use the cheaper things on my vehicle and havent had any problems really but to everyman is his own I guess. As long as it works for me Ill continue to use it, this is the first tuneup Ive done to the 3.0 and if they start to give me trouble I will upgrade but I work from the bottom up 
No flaming war man...were all cool people here! Denso's don't cost much...bet you paid more for your bosch than you would for the denso's to be honest.

Yep, the NGK & Densos aren't that expensive, I think Napa quoted me a $2 & change price tag for the OEM type per plug. I just went with the iridium for the longer plug life & so far they're running fine. I'm hoping they out-live the 3.0

Well I don't know what everybody's beef is with with bosch, but I've had the same set for the last 50k miles or so, and I aint had no problems yet. Maybe I got lucky and got a good set, or...? What IS everyone's deal with bosch? Someone fill me in here?

SwampThing, i put them in my vette, it ran like crap. I changed out to champion plugs..whoa it ran fine. And I spent alot on the best dang bosch plug they sold at napa!
Put them in a friends jeep, did it one wire at a time no possibility of a screw up, IT back fired.
Put them in a friends yota once, it ran incredibly rough.
Tried them in a friends stock mustang, the idle was really weird and again it ran rough.
I dont know what it is with them things, all were properly gapped and the better end plugs. We swapped them out for the cheaper plugs and cars ran fine. I mean what gives?

I have the Bosch Platinum 2's in my '99 Wrangler. They work fine. But I have added a Sreaming Demon coil, cap, rotor, and 9mm wires. Don't know if that makes a difference.

I still think you can't go wrong with some NGKs. I was laughing and crying at the same time when I bought my truck and pulled the plugs and found out they had never been changed in 96,000 miles. :x good thing it's a toyota, otherwise it probably would have been fubar. Also, i've used boschs, and others, and platinums and all those weird 2 prong, 3 prong, diamond, 4 prong, whatever they got. They all suck, now I stick with NGK.
