Truck Got Painted!!!

I'm so frickin' happy my truck is finally DONE(Ish)

Heres what the rustbucket turd looked like back in '06 when I bought it for 1300$

Here's what it looks like after extensive bodywork, and a $50 paint job done by me, also I added a 3" body lift, 33x12.5" BFG MT's, Rollbar, Cobra CB W/ 4' Firestik, and a straight pipe... I've put a little over $1000 into it ontop of the purchase price..

Yep Its spraypaint, Krylon Ultra Flat Khaki... And I got that rollbar for 40$ off craigslist, which had really bad surface rust, so I had to sand it down with 80 grit, and literally fill in the rust spots with spot putty to make it look normal, then I shot some farm implement gloss black on it.. Van Sickle, takes like a week to dry.. Literally. Yeah I'm glad I got white wagon wheels over black for sure now.

It was a few shades darker then the original paint, but the closest I could come to it in a rattle can, I also painted the door jams, and behind the seat, and bedlined the floor, as welll as put some dynamat down under my viynl mat.. I'm happy.

Just a heads up for people who want to use dynamat. Try Fatmat much cheaper because its not brand name.

Looks great! The white wheels really work with the colour. Reminds me of an old FJ

Why would I? I have no reason to? I did use some filler primer to fill a few scratches, but other then that no.

I love the white wheels. Only thing I have to say is the next time you get your wheels balanced have them put the weights on the inside i think it looks a lot cleaner.
