Trouble codes 24, 31
Hey guys, I'm just finishing up a HG replacement (22re). I installed a new engnbldr Street RV Head and 268 cam (woo hoo!). After some trouble shooting, I've got it running again! It sounds like crap since I need to tighten the valves. I'm showing two codes right now: 24-Intake air temperature sensor, 31-Air Flow Meter signal (Vacuum Sensor signal).
I'm thinking I might have a couple wires/hoses mis-matched. From what I can tell, looking over and over again from my own pictures and from the awesome pictures from the "22RE Head Gasket and Timing Chain Replacement PICS" thread, I've got things lined up like I should. My truck's telling me 'no'.
Any ideas? Anyone have additional pictures of their 22re?
Also, I want to adjust my valves when they're hot. Will idling the engine with the LOUD tap hurt anything? Thanks!

Adjust them cold to start with, then go back and check them when they're hot and you don't have a LOUD tap.....loud being relative here. Find what the specs are for that cam. They may be different than stock settings.
Make sure the wires in the connector at the airflow meter are making good contact. One or more of the terminals could be shoved back in the connector and not making contact at the meter terminals.

Thanks for the info! I had actually gathered that from one of your previous posts. I guess that's what I'll be doing tonight.
My airflow sensor seems to be hooked up fine. I'll go back and trace some of my wiring, but I really don't know what else could be throwing those codes.
