Yeah i had heard of them before i saw this one but only seen that white one before. Also only knew of two wheel drive versions.
well took it too work and back today. drives really good. both those rear windows leak. looks like the rubber seals have gotten shorter with age. Have to replace those i guess. I am going too try too use some flowable silicone too seal them for now.

I'm going too try and get a softopper installed on this truck once I get some of the other stuff sorted out.
I'm not sure if the mounting is going to be the same or not, though. I may not be able to just buy one and install it.

With the roll bar a bikini top would be easy. Prolly take a cool person at a 4wd parts store to let you test fit them from different jeeps and an FJ40. Add tube or half doors = SWEET.

One day.....

So I got the title a couple days ago. It says its a sr5, However it doesn't have the sr5 cluster, not sure what other goodies came on a 1987 sr5 pickup.
I am picking up a set of sr5 buckets for it tonight and the rears!

is that modified seat tray metal or fiberglass?
what the heck did they use as the sealant between the seams? looks like that expanding foam stuff.

it is a fiberglass tray. The stuff feels and looks like caulking. however i suspect it has more bonding propertys then that.
