Toyota 3.0-vze engine not firing after rebuild
I'm fairly confident the timing is correct. I installed the belt and cranked it by hand a couple times to make sure the marks lined up correctly each time. Should I remove the belt covers and double check this after cranking? (I think I will because I can find a glaring problem anywhere else.)
I also have an extra vacuum fitting from a three pronged connection coming from the air intake I think one of the prongs broke off before I had this truck and some one put in a T connection for the line that would normally attach here. Would having this open cause any issue? It was like this before, when it was running.
I also took a look into the throttle body and some gas drained out when I took the air intake tube off.
Could it be something as simple as it being flooded?
What are some other possibilities that I should troubleshoot?
