well, no luck so far.

finally had time today to try this..

the pinouts of the ecu that i can find( 85 fsm) are different than the pinout of MY ecu( one link doesnt even have the same number prongs on the ecu's it shows)

i dont know what to do, i got a little risky and tried jumping the terminals that the 85 said it was, even though nothing was exactly the same, didnt do anything..

the 10 prong is:

OOOOO
OOOOX

18p

XOOOOXXOO
OXXXOOOOO

14p

XXOOOOO
XXOOOOO

X= empty space
O= not empty lol

my ecu, injector harness, and engine is out of a 86 toyota motor home with an A/T

thing ran great til intake gasket leak and o2 sensor went out.

still runs a little funny and valves make noise now, they never used to at all.

wanna check timing and do this right, this is gonna be my DD if i can get it to run right, if not im getting a new motor.

think i can get someone more experienced than I to point me in the right direction??

thanks alot

a dude on pirate 4x4's forum figured this out i guess he works on ecu's or something. anyway he knew what to jump and it wasn't what my 85 fsm was saying to. or any other fsm for that matter.

all that matters is it works! i rigged up a toggle switch in an empty spot in the fuse box under the hood. works good. thanks for the help guys
