Steelie Owners...

Are you guys running these?????

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Switching up my wheels and this looks like the best/cheap option... Just wanted to double check backspacing and lug pattern.

Thanks!

4wheelparts 15x8 steelies w/ 3.75" BS for $47.00 each

Rock Crawler Series 97
http://www.4wheelparts.com/PDT63883.aspx

No center caps for me as they look gay.

You can get black lugnuts as well as I hate the chrome ones (Wheeler's Off-Road has them).

I have these rims on my 85 4Runner and made them into beadlocks on 39.5 Iroks and then on my 85 ext cab w/ 35" BFG KMs.

Excellent rim.

I have Unique Series 42 steel wheels. Have had them for a couple years now and still love 'em. Got them at Discount for about $50/wheel.

I didn't care for them either, I let the shop keep them.

So does anyone have pics of 15x8's with 4in back spacing? I was about to order 15x8's with 3.75, cause that's what my other steelies have for backspacing, and I like the way they stick out a little bit from the truck.

Who'd you end up ordering from? All those wheels look great! I like the circle holes better than the D-rings ma-self.

Yeah, I am sure there are some on my website somewhere of them with the beadlocks. (5) Custom beadlocks from GLO on Pirate...$330 to my door and $100 of Grade 8 hardware.

Beadlocks:

Both sets of mine are 15x8 as 15x10 is too wide IMO and unnecessary for a trail rig.

alright guys, i need a wee bit of help. i'm looking at some black d hole wheels like these:

http://www.4wheelparts.com/PDT63526.aspx

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

obviously, i know that i want 15" rims, 6 on 5.5 lug pattern.

here are my questions:

1) is it ok to run a 31x10.5 tire (BFG MT if that helps) on an 8" wide rim? they're currently mounted on 7" wide AR aluminum wheels that i dislike.

old pic of current wheels:

now, i like how my tires (mainly the fronts) pop out of the fenderwells a little bit. these rims don't have any ID on them for me to get the backspacing from.

i'd like to keep that relatively aggressive look with the front tires bulging beyond the bodyline, and i like the wider look that it gives to the truck as well. will a 3.75" backspace be enough to keep that look? or should i go with 4"?

edit: i see the dude above me has 15x8's with 31x10.5's, and they look pretty decent.

thanks in advance for any suggestions you can offer, as they're much appreciated!

edit: eventually, i'll be getting 33x10.5 tires, not sure if that makes any difference in your decisions either

I second those rims, I've had them on 3 rigs over the years and they are definitely tough.
