Skid plate search

I have been trying to find a new bolt on skid plate for my 95 pickup and i can't seem to find them anywhere. I've found one made my pro comp that looks nice but i'd like to see if there is anything else out there. And also the one website i found the pro comp skid plate said "offers protection for your lifted vehicle". Well mine is just stock height will it still work? Thanks

the pro comp i believe is meant for the 3" or 4" lift which most you will find are. had the same problem when I was looking around. Gave up and decided when summer rolls around I am gonna try and fab my own.

junk yard or craigs list for another OEM one. Procomps is for a 4" drop bracket lift kit.

Not that its helpful now but Downey made some nice looking replacement skids when they were still in business. You MIGHT be able to find floating around online. just a thought

diamond plate to me defeats the purpose of a skid plate..why use a surface designed to prevent slipping? IMO it would just cause you to increase your chance of getting snagged on an obstacle...

Yup worth at least 15 hp, add the stickers another 5. I know it would collapse like a 2 dollar suit case. But thats whats on there. Its a DD so its not going to see rocks n logs anytime soon. Well at least it keeps the oil pump drip from coating the complete underside. mmmm maybe thats not a bad thing.
