Seal on manifold

Where the exhaust tube connects to the bottom of the manifold there is 2 seals. on the old one they seals ore tight around the exhuast. If anyone know what i am talking about do i need to heat these to the the exhuast or can i just put it together?

The two little donut seals? They are meant to slide over the collector pipes and then crush when you tighten the flange nuts up.
