Rough Idle after slamming brakes - 94 4runner V6 4x4 auto
So, I am suspecting the brake booster diaphragm ripped when I hit the brakes hard... It is absolutely running terrible! I thought the dang HG went or something, but no over heating or smoke..
My question: is the diaphragm replace-able, or do I have to replace the booster?
Thanks!
And how tuff is replacing the booster?

Try pressing your brake pedal really hard (with constant power) and see if it goes all the way to the floor eventually. If it does go to the floor (after about 10seconds of hard pushing) then probably bad. Mine was like that, was cheap and easy to just replace the whole booster.
