One tip for you if you're going to paint it. Painting chrome isn't fun, because it'll peel right off if you don't scuff it up. And chrome doesn't scuff too easily.
My bar was paint over chrome when I got it, and was peeling. After sandblasting it down, i repainted with gloss black.

See those hugs gaping holes in each corner...where I had to CUT the roll bar out cause all the bolts were rusted and the roll bar was rusted to the bed.

^ah man wabbit, way to go and ruin some perfectly good sheetmetal again...
I don't really care for those roll bars at all.
If you drill the holes for the bar, and then paint all around the area, underneath, do you think it would still be a problem.

Absolutely not. Thats what I did, and I used antisieze on the bolts, my truck had a rollbar in it for 20 years, and I took it out and installed a different one, the previous owner did the same as me and theres not one spot of rust.

I like roll bars, but im not a fan of that particular one. I like the simple single tube ones. Im currently deciding if im gonna toss mine in favor of a toolbox (I have no effin storage!). I don't want to drill into the cab roof for a light bar though!

Here you go Jay! I know a few dudes the run them, the Owner of BlueyFab runs one, and Algranger has one, I reccomend gettin one, it'd look killer on your truck, or it'd get caught on tree's either way... I know you can find them cheaper then that too.

So there is there any drilling required?
