rear differential leaking
It looks like there's a leak between the third member housing and axle housing on my 94 pickup. Is there a gasket between those two that would go out or anything? Any other possible causes?

Theres no gasket, there usually sealed with a silicone sealer like ultra black or something like that, and the only way to fix it is to pull the axles and remove the third member and reseal it. You might also want to check the axle vent to make sure its not plugged.

no gasket?
ummm, I put on between my 3rd and the housing with I did mine a while back...
sure I used RTV as well, but I did put a new gasket there; just to help keep the RTV in place a little
and there WAS a gasket already on it when I pulled the third, so they DO come with gaskets on them...
