I live in colorado and have started my runner in some really cold weather -30 a few times in the winter and it started just fine. I haven't had any problems with my truck running poorly when cold. sure it takes some time to warm up but what engine doesn't? and I checked for that same part a few years ago and it was over $200. I was shocked too but If you can get it for $43 I probably would do it. I still haven't had any problems so i'm leaving it the way it is.

I suggest that you try to bypass it and if you have any problems with it not running well when cold then you should get the part. It's not that hard to replace. oh and scope could you tell me why it would run poorly when cold with it bypassed?

thanks scope103 and nathanmyers I am strapped for cash and for now the quick fix would be to link them together using a double male end to connect the hoses and if I have any problems then I know i could get it for around 50 bucks at least thats not to steep for this little switch... I also have another question.... I am trying to pull my motor out and I have disconected everything and the engine is slowly coming out from the transmission(manual) I have it being lifted at a angle so if it does come loose it will slide forward but I just cant seem to get it out... any suggestions

when I pulled the engine out there was a plate that came off the bottom of the transmission and a little metal button with a sping in it as well.... can any one help me to find how to place these back so I dont have problems. The plate looks like it belongs to the bottom section of the enginge and tranny mount but the button thing is a mystery to me
