Pre-89 Floor Mats?
Hey gents,

Did the 84-88 Yota trucks or 4Runners come with factory floor mats? The only floor mats I have been able to find are for 89-95 models.

Pre-89 Floor Mats?
Hey gents,

Did the 84-88 Yota trucks or 4Runners come with factory floor mats? The only floor mats I have been able to find are for 89-95 models.

my 87 has the factory floor mats. I have red interior and they match perfectly so im sure they are original.

I bet the 89-95 ones fit the same though or are at least very close

I'm sure there were trucks that came with them from the dealerships. I doubt they were much different then the ones you can get at autozone. Are you looking for ones that say Toyota?

Yeah - I am trying to restore the interior of my truck to being completely factory/oem.

no...but my 1995 camry i know has the factory floormats and it has the same markings on the back as the ones in my 4runner. The camry doesnt say toyota on it either

My '87 4runner had the original toyota floor mats when i bought it but the were trashed, so i got me a set of camry floor mats and they fit just fine.

My truck came with those. they were just a piece of vinyl that said "Toyota"

I have original carpet ones that say "Toyota" on 'em... I'm sure you can find a set on ebay or craigslist!

I'm sure they will fit if they are out of a toyota truck. Most floor mats are pretty universal anyway.

Sorry about that. I only did it because my truck is an 86 but some of the parts in question are 85 which are seperated in two different forums (86-95 vs. 84-85 forum).
