@JasonYota. I used the original emblem and sandblasted the entire thing to remove the paint. Then I masked off the letters and sprayed only the front with black paint. I glued some really bright red LEDs that I had lying around to the back of the emblem and then screwed it to the grille. Then I sealed the whole thing with silicone to keep any water out. I just hooked it up to the parking lights so it comes on when you turn the lights on. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the project, but I might make a better one in the future with pictures

New here, just got the pickup in January. Been in Iowa its whole life, but it's completely rust free. It's a '94 4x4 5-speed with 158,000-ish miles.
Just put 15x7 cragar soft 8's with General Grabber AT2's on it in 235/75's.

Finally took the top off my newly acquired first gen the other day for the first time!
I love it with the top off!! Its different, but its good. I had never ridden in one before I got this one.
Also swapped out the wheels for the ones on it now.

Not in the pics, but i have cranked the torsion bars more to fix the droopy nose, Its hard to tell that i drooped in the pics below, but it drooped a good bit.

Hi all, just picked up a nearly bone stock 90 SR5. Looking forward to making some progress on it.

Going to hit the search hard, but curious if anyone could point me in a good direction of someone/page running wheels wider than 10"? Thanks.

Hey Guys,
I finally got all the parts to install DUAL LED spotlights to either side of my a-pillar, Yes i know the photo is of a Jeep Wrangler. Ive only uploaded this pic because I haven't been able to find anyone else who has done what I'm about to do on a 4Runner. the photo is just to show what ill be doing. its gonna look sweet. When I start later on ill upload some photos..Post Your Pics!!!-381-2-2007-present-jeep-wrangler-jk-stacked-50-inch-bar-mounts.jpg

Dual LED mounts

This weekend i installed these Jeep LED Brackets onto my 4runner,
still waiting on the lights to come, I should have them tomorrow.

Had to do a bit of modifying of the brackets to suit my car though.
had to design a aluminum right angle bracket and then pack it with a soft weather resistant rubber. Because the grill part on the car is curved and the right angled bracket is flat, i thought up the idea of putting the rubber under and cutting it thick enough, so i could just tighten one bolt more then the other which correct the curve and made the LED mounts face straight ahead.
Would like to hear what you guys think about it so far. tomorrow when i get the lights ill rough them in and take a picture. i still have to think up an idea for the bolts that hold on the lights. the last thing i want is for the lights to get stolen.
I am hoping that there are security nuts and bolts, rather then your standard hex head ones.

JMO but I would rather have the lights down in front of the grill. Almost everyone I know who put lights above the hood line (either right above the windshield or on the cowl like that) regretted it pretty soon after because of the glare and reflection caused by the hood. It got even worse in dust or fog.

Its really interesting that you say that, I will have to look out for it.
Hopefully they are raised up high enough, that the glare wont be too bad,

Mind you these lights will only be for using when im out bush/camping and need to flood an area, so its not like they will be on 24/7.

I get the lights today, so hopefully everything is smooth sailing lol

cheers
