Wow, this is beginning to sound like a domestic forum. Assuming the tires are equally sticky, it boils down pretty much to whoever has more weight over the drive wheels and not spin away their traction.

That's an intense drive to work lol.
The closest I've had was just this summer in my mom's '96 Corolla, heavy heavy heavy rain, always floods in this one place, buddy and me went through and did fine so we decided to do it again, water rose quite a bit in 60 seconds, front of the car floated for a reasonable distance, soooo glad I had some speed before I went in lol

Snorkel sure.. motor doesnt die, but damn, time to have a fluid changing party! Transmission, tcase, axles whole shibang. Poor clutch isnt to happy there either lol.. alternator is screaming bloody murder and im pretty sure the heater fan isnt to happy either
I hate water, to many years of... oh ok ill go in one more time.. then im quickly reminded how much i hate it when im draining milkshake from my transmission and repacking axle bearings... oh how it gets old
