Oil pressure sender
Hey guys I have an 86 4Runner w/ 22re and I am installing an autometer oil pressure gauge and I was wondering if any one knew the thread size for the sender? I have to order an adapter from them and I am not sure which size to get. Also how do I shut off my dummy light completely after I install my new gauge?

Change your oil. While empty pull the sender and measure.
I swapped one when I did my manual tranny swap and it seems like it was M6 or 8 but i didn't pay much attention as I was just swapping a pressure for the light.

You need to search the internet. You will need an adapter from BSPT (British Standard Pipe Thread) to NPT (National Pipe Thread)
I think it's 1/8" to 1/8" , but you will find out for sure from the guys who have done this once you do the search.
As far as the oil light, take your dash apart and pull the bulb.
