Cool. My frame shouldn't rust for at least another two decades- my front seal went out a couple months ago and lost 3 quarts over a 150 mile freeway drive. My white truck was caramel colored by the time I reached the destination.

Hmmm. My filter is always empty when I pull it off. The first time I changed my oil, I wadded a bunch of paper towels under the filter to keep the oil from running everywhere, but it didn't spill a drop.

My oil filter is slightly pointing downhill as it meets the block, are all 22r blocks not that way?

I have a 3VZE. My oil filter holes are also tilted downhill, but always seems to be partly full and messy.
