Shoot!

I should have atleast mentioned that it's got 229,000 miles on it now. And also that I replaced just the head gaskets after that pic. It ran great for awhile afterwards. Another 6,000 miles or so.

Then around 224,000 miles I cracked the #6 piston. And I did rebuild it after that. Had to of course.

I hear ya!....I had a lot of patience too, but ran out of it having to work on that piece of junk 3vze I had...so I sold it and got my patience back

i need to get on the ball in rebuild my old 22re engine so i have a spare on the shelf...
i just need to buy the parts take it into work, hone it or bore.. what ever it may need.. then rebuild the head.
