I've had mine for awhile! Trying to patch up the rust before I slap it on. They are nice/heavy/solid pieces.

personally...i think alll the rear bumpers (of this style) are made basically the same..and to me it comes down to looks..and the Marlin has the best looks IMO..so it's where im gettin mine...unless Addicted hooks me up with a NICE price on a set of bumpers front and rear

needs a loop going from the mount to wraparound to protect the lower quarterpanel...

aint that what the braces are for too?...i mean i know they brace it for a side impact..but isn't that the piece you're referring to Robb?

Hey camo:

I just think they need something like the loop that goes under the quarter panel to protect it...mine has saved me a few times

all of these style bumpers: T-G, Marlin, Dave's, Addicted Off Road etc all share a similar design and all off so much more protection than stock...

edit: & braces at a 45* from the mounting brackets to the reciever don't hurt either--I think that is what you might have been thinking of...

no i was talking about the small piece of tubing that protects the lower panel like you have shown in the pic..LOL

his title says "with optional side mounts" im assuming those are the braces that tie into the sides no?...i thought they welded on just like the one in your pic Robb..maybe im mistaken lol

mine will get beefed up way more than what they do though...with the 45* degree brace running from the bracket to the reciever extra bracing on the side hoops and bracing of the mounts more for sure...when i get mine mounted.it aint goin NO WHERE..lmao

YA I got the optional mounts and they do weld to the main lower bar like shown then they can be welded or bolted to the frame in the quarter panel area just did not get pics up of them yet.
One thing I found while priming it that they don't list or show in their pics of the bumper is the mounts for a 5/8's hoop for recovery when needed.

Here is my new receiver Hi Lift Jack mount what you think about this ?

Pretty simple design just a couple bolts and butterfly nuts with a piece of flat steel welded to a piece of receiver tubing and a round piece of steel to slide the jack into to hold the weigh then the butterfly nuts bolts hold the body of the jack and I can put a lock on the inside so no one can just pull it out and run off with it.

LOL ya that's the mud room I am redoing the whole house it's 180 years 's and the people that lived here before had them rugs in here for like 30 years so I pulled them up and just cut that section so I had something to wipe my feet on instead of bare wood floors.

As for being thirsty and drinking a lot of water well yes and no, got a 30 year old well and it's not very deep compared to the rest of the houses around here that are like 3-400 feet deep mine is only 100 feet deep so it is full of minerals and it is not really drinkable from the fawcett so I get drinking water delivered to me and they bring 20 gallons a month and being a single guy and nobody else in the house it tends to builds up fast lol

Nice, Good looking toys in the background also, that lathe and mill is exactly what I am looking for. Is that a pan in the background, HD in the red, cant really tell from the pics.
