Is it a two or a one wire setup to the solenoid? if it's a one wire, it will need to be grounded to work.

just take a couple of jumpers right off the bat and touch them to the right connectors on the solenoid, It should pull back when you hit it with the power. You did say you have power at the wires right??

well now...i went searchin around under the hood..and i dont have power at the big green plug for the solenoid....i didnt bother to check the other wires coming out of the plug to see if they get power..LOL..guess i need to do a little more testing..

the solenoid is a 2 wire set up..and idk how to get to the connectors on the solenoid itself..the wires go into some kind of rubber piece on the solenoid lol..more investigating needs to be done i know..and im goin to check on everything right now

Honestly, at this point I'd start checking fuses. You probably popped the power to the carb 'computer' when you were messing with the stereo.

now i've looked over alllll of the fuses in the whole truck..none are blowed?..i checked the ones under the hood by the battery..checked the ones behind the DS kick panel..and checked the 2 behind the glovebox..to my knowledge that's all the fuses...however i haven't check any of the relay's???..

haha, idk if this would help any but how did you wire up your radio? idk if this is the right way but my friends when the put in systems usually wire theirs to their ignition then to their battery. Also when you wired up the radio you possibly could have created a short. try to take the stereo out. stupid idea but everything is worth a try right?

radio was never installed..turns out its a bad headunit..lol

and yes i wire mine to the ignition for the switched power then to the battery for the constant.

all of the wires are capped so nothing is touching lol..idk what could be the problem..it's not the idle cut solenoid because i just tested it..and the pin is moving just fine..lol

sooo...i am once again out of ideas..the choke opener leaks at the back...the side of the throttle linkage..needing to figure out why it's laking..or well..replace that dude..lol if that doesn't help then idk wtf to do...

anybody???

i can't find a list or something that hasall the relays...of course everything going to the carb is getting power..and its getting spark..so it has to be fuel or air related..and since it's for sure getting enough air..im thinkin it's floodin out..

so what next?..diaphragm in the Acc. Pump?

anybody know where i can get a new Choke Opener Diaphragm???????

also known as choke opener assembly...

so far in the rebuild i've found a little bit of 'junk' in it..mainly in the accelerator pump and the Aux. Acc. Pump lol..im REALLLY lookin forward to this makin my truck run amazing........if it don't..idk wtf i'll do hahahaha

some small rubber O rings were bad on both of the venturi's...but honestly..other than i haven't found anything terrible..lol..but i have learned a lot about the toyota 22r Carb

im sure it'll take me longer to put it back together..than it did to take it apart..lmao ...but since i need a new choke opener diaphragm i have plenty of time..

so somebody needs to help me out here!!!!!!!!

so according to this guy http://www.bluebassdesign.com/boonin/carb_faq/

i can leave my choke opener off..and just plug the vacuum lines and spots...

he says it really only serves the purpose of opening the pass. side choke...which can also be acomplished by hitting the gas pedal......

so i believe i'm gonna leave it off.....unless somebody else says otherwise??

well som beach guys.........

so now i need the 2 'O' rings that go on the ends of the venturi's....they aren't normal o rings..they're kinda oval-ish or ractangle-ish...so unfortunately i guess i'll have to wait until tomorrow to proceed anymore...

i figured out how to get the electric choke put back together..and it's really rather simple lol..i was thinkin it's gonna be PITA..but it's not..lol

now i just need to find some weird 'o'rings..lol
