I like that alot! I thing you may have convinced my to buy and install that setup on the trail rig. Heck it's less than the local shop quotes for a new exhaust and that doesn't include a header.

haha, thanks!

If I were to do it again, I'd probably get at ceramic coated header, just so that you don't get all dpressed after seeing the paint flake off a brand new header you just spent $180 on but it's not big deal to me, like I said, I kinda expected something like that to happen; I mean comon, the header was less than $200...

really nice quality in the cat-back kit though! I think my decision to go cat-less is probably what made the install a little harder, but leaving it out I didn't have to cut any piping or anything; just bolted right up

I got a quick question for you guys...

Ok, see the center hole, between the two studs that are in the middle between cylinders 2 and 3 on the bottom row of studs...

Is there suppose to be a bolt there?

The reason I ask is this is on my old OEM replacement manifold there was in fact a hole there, but I never placed a bolt there. Now on this header there's also a hole in the same place, and upon first install I didn't place a bolt there either:

Well I just tracked down leak already, and guess where it was coming from... THAT HOLE

So I put a bolt in it:

NO MORE LEAK!

But my question is, wth is this threaded hole suppose to be? Is it just for a stud to bolt the manifold to or what?

If you ever wanted to re- paint the headers , they make spray paint call ,"Flame proof". It's holds up to 1500 Degrees .Lots of colors too. They should sell it at any autoparts store.

I hate you say I told you so..... haha!

I hate working on exhaust systems though, Id rather take it to a shop. Im trying to replace the muffler and tailpipe on my 4runner.... I think I might be able to finish this 3 week project tomorrow
