In need of seats....

Well I've done some research on getting new seats and it looks like I'm going to have to fab something....or at least get someone else to. I can't find any Toyota truck/4Runner's at the junkyards so it's gonna have to come out of something else. I injured my back over a year ago and am still in much pain so new seats are a must. How would I go about fabbing up brackets...any pics? Also what seats have worked well for you guys? Any help is appreciated cause I can't go much longer with current seats. Thanks.

Hey man..I have a set of 3racing race seats. VERY easy to do yourself. I'll go outside and snap a few pictures of the mounting for you.

here you go...You will see for the front I just used the bar that runs across the whole cab. Each bolt runs through the seat bracker and through that with a locking washer on both ends. Nice and sturdy.

The rear was just as simple. After I got the front mounted and bolted..I found where the rear bracket hole was and marked the hole. Took the seat out and drilled right down through the cab. I than used a 1 inch rubber puck to raise the back of the seat up so it sits level with the front. Ran a bolt down through the seat bracket/puck/cab and bolted it all together underneath...again using lock washer. Here you go.

Final product

That's seems fairly straight forward. In the first couple of pics, is that the crossmember you're bolted up to? I'm just trying to orient the front/back and sides of the seat in relation to the bars/crossmember and where you bolted. Where can you get 3racing seats...do they have cloth ones for cheaper? Thanks again and your interior looks sharp! It's not too gaudy, not too dirty...it's just right.

Yea that front is bolted to the crossmember. After I bolted it there..I just saw where the rear mounts were on the floor, marked them and drilled them. Pretty ismple I dont know about the seats on cloth or not. Just search around online.
