my seafoam method
Tried seafoam today. Spilled a little while pouring
Put half a can in the intake, rest of the can in fuel tank.
Shut engine off, waited 5 to 10 minutes, started truck. Good way to meet the neighbors, man did it smoke, for a good 10 minutes. I shut the truck off, started it up again and took it for a drive. Was still smoking a little while driving. I think now I have to readjust my idle speed.
this is how I got it in the intake: (1989 pickup 22RE)

Yep - I had to lower my Idle speed after the cleaning as well. It was idling around 1,300 rpm after the cleaning. A couple of right turns to the idles screw fixed it right up.
