My new 2nd gen 4runner! updated pic!

Just picked it up this afternoon. 95 3.0 auto 4x4, 144k on the clock. Only problem I know of so far is the driver side valve cover has a small leak. The interior looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor and the exterior is rust free and spotless except for one scratch on the passenger side. Managed to snap one pic before the rain got to bad.
First day I had it

Next day after an hour or so of work. removed running boards, brush guard and bug shield

Looking good. I've got almost an identical 95 4runner and love it. Ditch the running boards. I took them off a few weeks ago and was surprised how much nicer it looked without them.

Yeah, I'm keeping my 3rd gen. The 2nd gen is going to be my beach/trail rig.

I'm not a big fan either. The rear isnt too bad it's just the way my drive sits. But hopefully I'll be getting a lift with my tax return!

looks great! and personally I like the air flow things on the front. I noticed a difference driving down the highway to school in my 94 without one and my 95 with one, not a power difference at all but a huge difference in the amount of bugs it kept off!

The plastic things definitely help keep the bugs off. As for the lift OME is where it's at.

Agreed, I like the way it looks much better now without all that junk on it. Hopefully tomorrow I can get to removing the pin stripes...and hopefully it wont be to much of a PITA.
I got lucky I bought it from an elderly gentleman who was the 2nd owner since 97 and took exceptional care of it.

nice looking runner. I have an 95 also . i haven't done to much to it yet , aside from bigger tires , and sliders. and painting most of the ugly chrome. I have wheeled mine a few times . and never had a problem.
