Last summer while I was at work I watched a young fellow make three attempts at parking his loud and lifted, huge tire Chevy (something) pick up. I thought, WTF is he doing? I could see him through the store front window which is entirely glass. Even though I had work to do, I had to stop and witness this grand display of testosterone as he pulled forward and back just so he could get the truck at just the right angle with the one tire upon the curb. When he was satisfied, he proceeded to make his way over to the neighboring Chuck E. Cheese, but not without stopping atleast twice to look back and check that everything in his world was in order at that point. ...memorable!

Very nice, burtonsoldier. Old ones...wimpy...sad. New ones...meaty and bold!!...

Have you noticed much of a decline in power or mileage without having regeared, yet?

i notice a power loss but only on the freeway 5th gear is gone now but in 4th it still feels the same, as far as my mileage not to bad havent figured it out becasue of any speedo difference, btw i have a 5 speed 22re, i still want to get some 4.88's and a header w/exhaust, hoping that will put me back to normal and maybe a little better, but i love it, i cant wait to go through some mud though ughhhh

What about the bottom end? Like when you're starting out from a complete stop? I ask because I have the same set up..gears and motor....as you, but would like to go larger myself. I have 30x9.5/15 BFG AT's on mine right now (which still look better than the skateboard wheels you had....sorry) and they perform great in everyway...just not a lot of clearance. I'm pondering 33X9.50's...same brand and tread. I could probably swing the price just for the tires, but not for regearing or a significant loss in mileage and power. A little loss I can deal with, though.

lol I was going to say the same thing. I got 33x12.50 A/T's (real Dia. 32") And they have a good look but a more aggressive tread pat. would make it pop. Nice looking truck man, gotta say the tires do make the truck in some cases. sweet

Nice truck, looks good!

4.88's and header/ exhaust will make a big difference, especially the 4.88's

you think that truck looks wierd, my truck was supposed to put on 31's and the previous owner put on 225/75. 28" tires! I am going to get the 31s this summer.
