Yup, I bought a set of Warn hubs off you a while back.

Question for ya, other tanh looking badazz and the obvious protection, did the snorkel affect your rig at all? Lower the MPG or anything? Also did you do the install yourself?

no adverse effects to my truck. It is better than the aftermarket intake I had whEn I first got the truck. As for the install, I have installed every single
thing on my truck. I tend to be a little posessive like that.

How does the snorkel plumb into an air filter? does it use the stock box, or something else?

(I want to free up that corner of the engine compartment where the stock airbox is)

it plumbs into the stock airbox. I did see someone in another forum that took a nissan airbox, I think out of a 240z, and used that since the air box ended up being toward the back of the engine compartment. It was pretty cool. He had to move the coil and a bunch of other stuff, but it really opened up that corner of the truck.

5.29 with TruTrac front and rear both V6 diffs
Thats an interesting setup. I called Detroit to ask about the V6 TruTrac in the front of my truck (was going to pull it from the rear and go full Detroit in the rear) and was told that TruTrac's are directional Due to the nature of the helical gear cut). They make a 4cyl front and a 4cyl rear but there is no V6 front TruTrac. I'm guessing that the preload springs make it feel like an LSD when you spin the tires on the jack. Once you put torque to it the Helical gears go the wrong direction (against the spring pressure) forcing it to act like a completely open diff instead of a TruTrac. Would be an interesting theory to test.

interesting, I did not know that. The front diff is my old rear diff in my truck. You are right about up on the lift. The front is acting like it LSD. I wonder if it is acting open when there is load on it? If so... it is just to getme by with a diff until I get the high pinion front e locker so oh well.

Hi Paul !!!
I?m in love with your truck buddy... Several years ago I had a 2,4L Hilux during university in Argentina.
Now I live in Barcelona Spain. I am preparing a 1992 V6.
I saw that you work at 4wheelparts; in fact I bought a complete 4" procomp suspension lift, and bushwacker fender flares. I treated with George Plascencia (Very nice guy !!!). Delivery to spain and treatment was grate !!!
Right now im preparing my toy for a complete nice paint job New 2007 fjCruiser yellow color.
By the way I like a lot your front bumper. Which TJM model is it? What kind of mods did you do on it ??? How much ??? i want to buy an exact front bumper like yours.
Which model are your Front fog lights (Sorry for my prehistoric english, hahahaha!!!).
If you like, check out my truck at :

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f78/another-spanish-4runner-106164/

I also like a lot mechanics, beers and sex ( with my wife of course... She?s next to me, while im typing...) in my garage, hahahahaha !!!
Also feel free to visit our spanish forum, you?ll get surprised:
www.4runnerforo.com

See ya?
Facundo ;-)

Hit my head a couple of times until I figured out that it didn't feel good.

As for the light, yeah it's stock. I don't know if it is only on the SR5 or not????
