My 22R-E burning oil..help!!!

Hey I just rebuilt the whole head on my engine, new valve cover gasket, head gasket, new valves, new camshaft, and It burns like a quart every 2 weeks, what the hell is going on?

Do you see blue-ish smoke in the exhaust?
If so, when? All the time when running or at start up after sitting overnight?

Have you done a compression test on it?

No, the smoke looks pretty white to me, and no I havent done a compression test, should I do one?

if it is white, i would think it would be burning coolant?

sounds like the head gasket didnt seal properly. check your coolant level.

yes you should do a compression test.
also check that the pcv valve is operating properly.

did u replace the valve seals? also now that the head is fresh it can cause more blomby past the rings now that the head should be sealing better
