Instrument cluster removal
Hi can anyone link me to a step by step guide on how to remove the instrument cluster on a 1992 4runner RV6 SUV 3.0l v6 petrol
from what i've read so far it's a case of removing the lower dash and steering wheel column cover?

ok so i got took off the lower drivers dash, center lower and passenger lower as instructed.
took off the bezel surrounding the cluster.
then managed (with great difficulty) to get my hand behind and unclip the two electrical plugs and the speedo cable.
now i can't plug the speedo cable back in! as in i can't get enough room to make it connect and clip in.
i've read that if you unplug the cable grommet from the fire wall then you can get yourselves another 2 inches of play.
is this true?
any other tips?
thanks!

Yeah just had your problem! Ended up taking the end off the back of the xfer case, working enough slack to make it easy. Adds a little time, but my fat wrist couldn't reach behind and connect the speedo cable otherwise. I only needed about 2" though.
