It's good to hear not much has changed there though, I would've loved to have a taco truck when I was there. I used to live on 20 acres and we had solar power, bootleg canadian cable and an outhouse, it was an experience I almost rolled my toyota mashing down the mountain a few times!

I miss driving on dirt roads everyday. And the few other perks that laytonville has to offer.

yeah, I do miss the area. I still go up there every now and then. I also like fishing on the coast, although not for Salmon anymore

go to the junkyard get a new(old) drive shaft and put 'er in, its an easy fix...$320 is outrageous

I'm going to call pick a parts in a couple hours when they open to see if they have any 4 runners and I'm going to call a local drive shaft shop to see if they can do anything with what i've got. I've got my fingers crossed.
