Once the rear settles, I will adjust the t-bars down a bit more, and enjoy the extra wheel travel.

On my truck, I checked beforehand and it looks to be a CV binder. So I got the diff drop kit because I'll probably need it. And the torsion bar adjusters are just jack screws -- sounds funny! But seriously, it's just up and down.

UPDATE: BJ spacers cause vibrations with the hubs locked, no two ways about it. A diff drop helps, but I am working on other solutions, like lowering the front of the diff and working on driveshaft angles

Great thread man, very detailed. I did the EXACT same thing on my '89 4runner up front (new upper/lower ball joints, BJ spacer, and OME nitrocharger)...I was going to do a write up but then it would be the exact same thing as this, so thanks. In the rear I did a 'zuk mod' with rear TJ coil springs - rides great with OME shocks all around and I've got another 2 inches of lift. I too will get 4.88 gears soon as I'm throwing 33's on. OME shocks are the way to go, my truck rides so nice

I got the vibes down quite a bit using 4crawlers diff drop kit. While installing the diff drop I also redrilled the front diff mount tab to help with the front diff angle a bir more, and I can drive 35-40 mph in 4H without much vibration. The rear vibes are almost nonexistent, although I do plan on rebuilding my t-case at some point as the outputs leak a bit of oil and have a slight bit of play.
Haven't been too particular about it for the moment, as this truck is my 2ndary rig now. I picked up a 2013 F150 4x4 and have been crazy busy with work.
I'm going to add my air compressor install and rear bumper build in a bit.
Sorry it took me so long to answer your questions.

The hardware supplied with a new kit should be plenty strong, but mine was a used set of BJ spacers so I needed new nylock nuts and decided for peace of mind to spend the extra 7 dollars for all new bolts as well.

I was thinking about installing a small lift with some BJ spacers on my 4runner soon and was wondering how hard of a job the grinding is on the a-arm? If i dont have experience with an angle grinder is this something i will be able to do?
